What Is A “Specialist?” It seems like every contractor with a pry bar and a sledgehammer as well as every guy with a rug sucker is trying to pass themselves off as a restoration specialist these days. But real specialists know more than demolition and water extraction.

First, there’s intense training from international institutions that properly prepares the specialist with critical skills others can only guess at. We follow procedures as written in the I.I.C.R.C S500, “Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration “.

Skill like “Psychometric” – A scientific way to figure out exactly how much drying equipment is needed to dry your building without risk of exposing you to dangerous mold or mildew growth or damaging your structure.

Our advanced technology: Uses sensitive instruments that can determine if there is moisture inside your wall as well as measure the moisture in the air or carpet. We can even dry the insides of the walls without damaging them, making sure you aren’t left with an unhealthy mildew smell.

If your belongings are precious don’t entrust them to unknowledgeable “Rip & Slash” artists, or careless carpet cleaners. Call the real specialists at Dry Force at 512-930-2DRY (2379) or 254-899-2DRY (2379) and get the job done right. Our goal for every job is to have your structure dry in 48 hours and back to normal in 96 hours (4 working days).

Immediate Steps You Must Take:

1. Avoid Hazards! Your home has already suffered and the last thing you need is an injury. Be Extremely Careful of the deadly combination of water and electricity. Also when you’re walking around, wet carpets and floors are slippery, be cautious. Stay away from Raw Sewage backups because they contain nasty bacteria and can be harmful to you health.

2. Stop the source! If you have located the source of the water call us immediately at 512-930-2DRY (2379) or 254-899-2DRY (2379) and we will guide you through this (it is very crucial to know what to do). If you’ve stopped the source already…

3. Take immediate action! by calling Dry Force, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No matter if you call at 5:35 in the afternoon or 3:19 in the morning you will be answered by the owner, Wayne Filer. No answering machines here! Call at 512-930-2DRY (2379) or 254-899-2DRY (2379)! Remember, time is crucial so (after you call me and I’m on my way) you should…

4. Remove furniture! Wood furniture will stain carpets and these stains cannot be removed. Rust stains from metal are extremely difficult to remove and may be permanent. 95% of water damage jobs are restorable and of the 5% which aren’t restored are caused by not doing this. So either move the furniture that’s even near water or place something under the legs.

Here is some additional information that you need to know!

1. Carpet pad does not always need to be removed and replaced.
2. If the carpet pad is removed, in many circumstances the structure is dry within 24 hours.
3. Furniture stains, rust stains, and plant stains can be removed without replacing the carpet.
4. Using a top down drying process and good psychometric, the carpet and pad can be dried within 48 hours without floating the carpet or removing the pad.

We use state of the art equipment to identify where the moisture is within a structure and verify when it’s completely dried out. We leave nothing to chance! These are standard prices we have been using with insurance companies. In the event that we perform some work not listed in this document, we would reference “The Bluebook.” Some services may require a reasonable minimum charge, instead of the pricing listed above, depending on the circumstances.
